Fukuchi Lab presented one oral presentation at the 3D Media Technology Research Group (3DMT) held at NHK Science & Technology Research Laboratories on October 22-23, 2025.
Oral Presentation
Development of Real-time Reproduction Method for Realistic Optical Environment towards Photorealistic and Realistic Aerial Image Presentation using AIRR Aerial Stereoscopic Display Device
Presenters: Yusuke Daimon, Kentaro Fukuchi
We presented a method to enhance the sense of reality in aerial stereoscopic images using AIRR and stereoscopic displays through shading that reflects the real optical environment. This research proposes a real-time shading calculation method that reflects the real optical environment and hand interactions, as well as an image output method suitable for aerial stereoscopic display devices.
