We are developing technologies to support the creation of new performances for live entertainment such as concerts, theater, and stage magic.

The live video generation technology for stage performances, which applies the interactive display technology developed in our laboratory, has already been used in various stage productions and music events.

AIRR + DFD

We developed a method to display aerial images with a pseudo sense of depth for stage performances using AIRR and DFD technologies. This creates the illusion that images are moving from the back of the stage toward the front.

Ghostgram

"Ghostgram" is a new technology that greatly advances the techniques our laboratory has provided for the "3D Noh" series directed by Shutaro Oku, with the cooperation of Professor Masahiko Inami at the University of Tokyo.

Self-Photography Trampoline

This system motivates people who are experiencing trampoline exercise for the first time to enjoy it more actively through self-photography.

Nightbird Audience Node

A system that allows audiences to intervene in visual operations via smartphones during improvised visual programming by Visual Jockeys. Audiences support VJ performances while enjoying visual manipulation.

EffecTV
